What are the solutions to preventing more Sandy Hooks?
There are so many theories on how we can protect our children from tragedies like what happened in Newtown, CT.
Schools are meant to be special places where our children go to learn, grow, experiment, discover and be part of a safe community and we have to make sure that our most precious jewels – our children – get to do just that!
The mental health and self esteem of our children play an important role in who they grow up to be. Too often, those with confidence issues and disabilities get picked on and ostracized leaving them feeling disconnected from a community that they deserve to feel part of.
This newest EytanArt design reflects the feeling of community and connectedness that we all strive for in our schools. It is meant to remind us that although we are all different, we are all part of one community. It doesn’t matter if you’re tall or short, blond or a red-head, light-skinned or dark, athletic or intellectual you belong in the community.
This design is now available on all shirts and totebags and will soon be available on posters. Please visit the EytanArt online store
Please share this with teachers, principals and PTA members that you know so we can spread the message of building safe communities in schools by building respect and acceptance of each individual.
